SNMP v1

Setup

To configure the extensinio, go to the “Server”->“Server extensions” menu in the dbWatch Monitor. Here you will find an entry called “SNMP v1 extension”, select this and click “Configure” on the toolbar.

In the address field, type in the IP address of the Server you want to receive the SNMP Traps and the port the Monitoring software is listening to (Syntax “ip/port”). Then click on “OK”.

Select the extension again and click “Enable”.

DbWatch will now send SNMP Traps for Lost connection, Check Warning and Check Alarm.
