You can specify the amount of information about logins that the dbWatch Monitor is allowed to store, by adjusting the Server Configuration Setting called monitor-credential-storage-policy.

The legal settings are:

  • ALLOW_ALL The Monitor can store the username and (encrypted) password.
  • ALLOW_USERNAME The Monitor can store the username but not the password.
  • ALLOW_NOTHING The Monitor cannot store username or password.

The configuration can be changed through the “Server -> Server Configuration -> Server configuration” menu in the Monitor.
