dbWatch provides OS monitoring by connecting to the host machine that is running the database instance using SSH.
This currently works only for Unix-like platforms.

To enable OS monitoring through SSH you first have to register the database instance running on the host.
Then open the “Instance configuration” view (right click on the instance and select “Instance Configuration”), then select the “Authentications” tab and add an “ssh” authentication, and click “Save”.

After adding an SSH authentication, the SSH based tasks and alerts will appear in the “Manage tasks and alerts” view. (Right click on the instance and select “Configure Monitoring”)
