Adding instances with existing dbWatch schema

If you have a database instance with an existing dbWatch schema and you want to use this you have to first add the instance with only the “Administration” module.

Follow the normal procedure for adding the instance (click “Add” on the main toolbar), but select only the “Administration” module (not “Monitoring”).

Then when the instance is added, right click it and select “Configure”.

In the Configuration view, go to the Monitor tab and select “Add Existing Monitoring Framework”.

Fill in the existing dbwatch information and click “OK”.
