dbWatch allows you to attach notes to tasks, instances and servers.
You can access the notes dialog by right clicking on a instance/task/server, and selecting “Notes” on the menu,
The notes dialog has two tabs, one for public notes (visible to all users) and one for private notes (only visible to you).
In the main monitoring view, the first column will contain a note icon if there is an attached public note. This makes it easy to see if anybody else (or you) has written something that could be relevant to any issue you might be trying to fix.
Search
You can search for notes from any note dialog. Simply click on the “Search” button, this will bring up the search dialog.
All notes containing you the search term vill appear in the bottom of the dialog. Click “View” to open the desired note.
