Hardware Specifications

This section provides hardware and system requirements for deploying dbWatch Control Center in enterprise environments. Specifications are grouped by role—Control Center Server, Monitoring Engine (inside each database), and Client workstation.

These represent minimum guidelines. For larger deployments or higher monitoring frequency, increased resources are recommended.

Control Center Server Requirements

The Control Center Server is the core of the dbWatch environment. It handles configuration, user access, job scheduling, reporting, and security domains.

Monitoring Engine Requirements (per database instance)

The monitoring engine is deployed into each database and performs local job execution for monitoring, performance analysis, and automation.

Client Workstation Requirements

The dbWatch Client is a graphical interface for administration and monitoring. It may run on the same host as the server or remotely.

Remote operation via RDP, SSH (X11), or terminal server is supported.
