dbWatch offers 2 factor authentication through a TOTP (Time-Based One Time Password) mechanism.
Tou can use your favourite authenticator for this. For example Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator.
To enable 2 factor authentication for your own user, you can click the “Profile” -> “User” -> “2 Factor Authentication” menu.
To enable 2 factor authentication for other users, click the “2 Factor” checkbox in the user configuration.
The next time the user logs on,the 2 factor authentication initialization dialog will appear.
Scan the QR code in your Authenticator App. Enter the password and the 6 digit authenticator code to verify the setup.
The user will be prompted for a new 6 digit code each time he/she logs on.
